It is something that is completely faith-based because there is no way to prove whether or not it is real. It doesn’t matter what religion you choose to follow; it is imperative to have an understanding of other religions of the world. The knowledge of other religions gives you the understanding needed to not be afraid of the unknown. A great example of this is after 9-11, our country was full of fear. This reputation is extremely well deserved, as Lincoln was able to preserve the Union and gain victory in the civil war, despite his fighting an uphill battle against his own presidential cabinet. Had he not been struggling against this divided government, President Lincoln could have achieved victory with extreme efficiency and a minimum of wanton bloodshed (Angle 659). After Lincoln was inaugurated on March 4, 1861, he was forced to battle a split cabinet because of campaign promises made to various Republican factions, which made it almost mandatory for certain individuals to be appointed to cabinet posts. He ruled his cabinet with an iron hand, and often acted without cabinet consent or advice. Although his opponents called his method of rule "dictatorial" and "unconstitutional," it was the only effective way to get anything done (Simmons 142). In the beginning, Lincoln's secretary of state, William H. Seward, clearly considered himself the President's superior, and blandly offered to assume the executive responsibility. He entered the cabinet with the thought of becoming the power behind the 2 Presidential chair and openly opposed Lincoln's control of the Union. This made Lincoln's position as Chief of State exceedingly difficult and hindered his communication and control of the military. As time passed, however, Seward recognized Lincoln's capabilities and gave him complete loyalty (Simmons 174). This could not be said of Salmon P. Chase, Lincoln's first secretary of the treasury. Blinded by an inflated ego, Chase pursued his own presidential aspirations. He was in constant conflict with Seward, and in general opposition to Lincoln, particularly over the issue of slavery. About 12 million Americans go through this all the time, what they have is restless legs syndrome. What this is a creepy, unnerving, tugging, and crawling sensation in your legs. Some ways to relieve yourself of such pain is to walk around, massage your limbs, or to take a bath. Many people who have this syndrome have parents or siblings that have the same thing. The average age of people who suffer from this is 50-60 years old. There have been no medical studies that show what causes this but what experts are saying though, is that it is associated with kidney failure and anemia. There are also sleeping disorders that branch off of RLS, an example being PLMS or periodic limb movements With RLS it's hard to fall asleep, and if you do, you awake with pain in your legs. Your sleepy all day, and most likely irritable, as well as your bed partner who was kicked through the night. Many pregnant women develop RLS, and for many it disappears, but some are not so lucky. If you have RLS you may find that you also consume a sufficient amount of caffeine. Reducing sodas and coffee, could reduce RLS symptoms. There could be causes for certain cases of RLS. Having an iron deficiency, being pregnant, caffeine, or sitting down for long periods of time. For the most part though, doctors can't put an exact reason for it. .
